KCARE have been commissioned to produce a Buyers’ Guide and Market Review for obstetric ultrasound scanners. The Buyers' Guide focuses on the technical and operational considerations that need to be kept in mind when purchasing an obstetric ultrasound system and will contain the results of a user survey about obstetric ultrasound systems. The market review will contain a list of all the obstetric ultrasound scanners on the UK market with key specifications. This is intended to aid purchasing by helping people shortlist systems which might be appropriate for their needs, and exclude others which are not.

The user survey contains questions about the role and performance of ultrasound scanners for obstetric applications. We would like to invite anyone who is using ultrasound for obstetric applications in the UK to take part. If you have several scanners, you are more than welcome to submit survey responses for each scanner, though this will have to be done separately.

The user survey should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. We are only interested in scanners which are still available to the UK market, so please don't include any scanners which are more than about five years old.
